Dr. Deborah Montalvo Méndez is a bilingual (Spanish/English) clinical psychologist, supervisor, and professor dedicated to empowering individuals on their journeys of self-discovery and healing through a process of curious and compassionate inquiry.

With over a decade of experience serving diverse communities across New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico, she creates a warm and affirming space for exploration and growth. Dr. Montalvo specializes in working with adults with female-related identities, offering a supportive therapeutic relationship where lived experiences, including trauma, are honored and understood. Her approach blends the depth of psychodynamic therapy with the warmth of humanistic practice, helping clients deepen their self-awareness, heal from past wounds, and build more fulfilling connections. She is particularly passionate about supporting women, LGBTQ+, Latinx, immigrant, veteran, and other marginalized individuals, and is committed to providing culturally-sensitive care.

If you're seeking to flourish, embrace your self, and create a life of genuine connection, we are here to walk alongside you.
